By the time founder and CEO Kevin McAllister launched inRESONANCE in 1999, he had already spent 20 years working with independent schools, serving in the Peace Corps, and working with non-profits. The challenges of these ventures reinforced Kevin's belief that the combination of empowering professionals with simple, powerful tools and finding a way to support them over the long term is key to their success.
Kevin founded inRESONANCE to provide that vital infrastructure, assembling a team of people with deep, direct experience in schools and nonprofits. The iR team comprises a tapestry of relevant experience with past lives in school administration, teaching, environmental efforts, hospice, food kitchens, and more. We know your world. We believe in open, customizable solutions. It is rarely efficient for organizations to write their own software from scratch, but each should be able to adapt every tool to its unique mission. iR operates on the principle that each client should be free to see, understand, and control your own information. We design our solutions in FileMaker Pro software. We pioneered the concept of providing a standard, open FileMaker solution to multiple organizations rather than approaching each new organization as a custom project. This popular, cross-platform, easily networkable software platform allows us to work with organizations of all types and sizes. Combining the flexibility and openness of FileMaker with Open Source web tools and SQL-based systems allows us—and, more importantly, you—to grow and adapt.
