Immediate opening. Fun and hardworking software development team in Northampton MA looking to hire a full time experienced FileMaker applications developer.
inRESONANCE Inc. seeks a full time senior FileMaker applications developer to join our core software development team. Ideal candidates will be responsible for collaboratively designing, implementing, testing, deploying and maintaining new FileMaker applications for our customers as well as refreshing and maintaining existing inRESONANCE FileMaker products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the core software development team you will actively participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning and review sessions, and retrospectives. You will adapt existing applications to new requirements and construct new applications based on defined specifications.
As a senior developer, you will remain current on the latest software best-practices and apply them daily. You will mentor less experienced developers to bolster inRESONANCE's core development competencies. You will help define best practices to increase productivity and quality. You will conduct user acceptance testing to ensure applications can be used easily, quickly and accurately. You will assist in the development of detailed application specifications through discussion with product management. You will participate in some degree in all aspects of the development life cycle.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Well qualified candidates will have three to five years of software development experience, an ability to work on a collaborative development team, and a demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, implementation, debugging and testing. Expertise in FileMaker and related technologies is critical. Exceptional candidates will also have experience in XML, PHP, Java, and/or SQL.
