FileMaker 12 Has Arrived

FileMaker 12 has arrived, and we are extremely excited about this release.

This new version has a host of new features including:

• an updated design surface
• theme based layouts
• robust container support
• easier and enhanced charting
• and a new version of FileMaker Go (it’s free!).
  

Under the hood, this new version of FileMaker has a new file format (*.fmp12); this file format change was necessary to bring many of the new features to the product. FileMaker Inc. has worked hard to make the transition to this new format as painless as possible.
