The Williams School adds PWS online applications and RWS online forms
The Williams School in New London, Connecticut has extended the power of PORTAL to its families by adding two hosted web services: PORTAL Web Services (PWS) and Re-Enrollment Web Services (RWS).
Now families can log in to their secure account and manage their own admission process and re-enrollment process online. With PWS, the school can monitor application activity—even reaching out to families whose applications are not yet finished. Application data entry has been eliminated for all applications submitted online, boosting productivity for staff. In addition, RWS allows the school to design and publish online forms that are pre-populated from the school's PORTAL database. Families review data, submit changes, and complete their forms for the next year in record time.
Williams was founded in 1891 as a high school for girls. It went co-ed in 1971. today the school enrolls more than 300 students in grades 7–12.
“When you enter our front door you can immediately feel a collective, positive energy among the students, faculty, and staff,” writes Head of School Mark Fader on the school web site. “We work very hard to get to know all children in hopes of developing them into successful college students, lifelong learners, and self-advocating young adults.”
The Williams School has been a client of inRESONANCE since 2003.
