Valley School of Ligonier, in Ligonier, Pennsylvania has contracted for the inRESONANCE solution SANDBOX, which manages Admissions, Enrollment, and Student Information for Lower Schools. The school will also extend the power of SANDBOX through SANDBOX Web Services (SWS) and the Family Access Module (FAM), which provide easy access for families to submit online inquiries and applications, and to search an online Family Directory. Hosted by inRESONANCE and accessible through the school’s own web site, SWS and FAM eliminate direct data entry for information submitted online.

Valley School of Ligonier is a coeducational, independent day school enrolling 200 students in grades K–9.  Valley School was founded in 1946 by Constance Prosser Mellon and General Richard King Mellon. The school web site offers this description: “In an environment that is safe, nurturing, and disciplined, Valley School provides a balanced and strong program of study for a diverse group of children. Our goal is to stimulate in each young person lifelong habits of moral behavior, seeking knowledge and understanding, and doing good works for others.”

Head of School Clair Ward includes in her web site letter to parents this observation: “Valley is an exceptional community of learners, who feel the devotion and support of their teachers each and every day. Our children are confident, well prepared and responsible and they leave us ready to succeed in high school and beyond.”
